Femme Fatal Rough Cut

This is a rough cut of our Femme Fatal opening sequence. The clip contains all the shots and approximate timings. We will aim to keep the clip longer than 1:50 when it is finished.

Audience feedback.

We gathered some feedback from our rough cut preview and some pointers were given.
It was made apparent that there was a soundtrack needed in our opening sequence, so that the sounds aren't so echoey.
We were given advice to make our transitions smoother to link the shots together better, however the shots are supposed to be quite jerky, canted and rough.
We also have to make sure it’s all in black and white as parts of our sequence have not been edited in black and white yet.
It has also been pointed out that the black transitions last too long and should be filled to help make the story line understandable and to give something more to look at in the sequence.
Finally, we were given some advice to make our sound effects a bit more realistic such as the gun shots.


Possible changes.
We will aim to make sure the whole sequence is in black and white and that the sounds are not echoey in and the sound effects are up to scratch. We will also be adding the femme fatale in to the black transitions and feeding the audience the plot and give more understanding to what is happening in the opening sequence.
We will aim to improve the points which have been raised in the audience feedback.
